biehl.parfumkunstwerke (“perfume artworks”) is the olfactory gallery of the Berlin-based fragrance expert Thorsten Biehl. Established in 2007, it acts as a stage for international fragrance artists and perfumers from the New German School. The complete creative freedom that Thorsten Biehl gives the perfumers who work for his label produces truly exceptional fragrances: perfumes where quality and exclusivity count, perfumes with an appealing creativity and class, perfumes with the power to surprise.
At biehl. parfumkunstwerke you won’t find mass-produced scents or so-called designer fragrances, products that are no more than a mass trend produced a million times over. All biehl. parfumkunstwerke perfumes are created exclusively for the label; they are only available in strictly limited editions because they use top quality ingredients.
On principle, the biehl. parfumkunstwerke perfumes are staged in a minimalist style, featuring only carefully selected elements that transcend the ordinary – from the purist, supremely tactile packaging design to the timeless bottles. This minimalist approach extends to the names of the perfumes, which are simply the initials of the perfumer and a consecutive work number. Thorsten Biehl‘s gallery currently comprises works by Mark Buxton, Patricia Choux, Arturetto Landi, Egon Oelkers and Geza Schön.
